So I probably did something wrong obviously Is that when I reboot I can't even get into Mint. That resulted in the same problem, but the bigger problem now. 192.168.1.100/files/linux /media/zonal cifs credentials=/home/oem/scripts/.smbaccess,users 0 0 So I replaced it with just flat 'linux' as the folder name: So I tried this as well, as I thought the '_Linux' part might cause problems. It did mount the drive but gave me the following error: 192.168.1.100/files/_Linux /media/zonal cifs credentials=/home/oem/scripts/.smbaccess,users 0 0 I added this line to my fstab file according to that youtube guide: So I found this youtube guide which is pretty useful, but I got stuck: I learned that I needed to edit my fstab file in order to mount my NAS (drive/share) in order to be able to back up to it. But I got sort of an invite to come here, so here I am. I posted this problem on Reddit on the Linux Mint sub, but not much response unfortunately.
